Our Compliance Office needs you to complete the following before you take your first class. Please visit our compliance website for full details and a helpful checklist to refer to as you take care of these requirements. Here are some important things to keep in mind:
- You’re required to have specific compliance documents on file for your clinicals/practicums/internships/service learning experiences. Without a fully compliant record, you’re not eligible to apply for clinical sites.
- You’ll want to start working on your compliance requirements as soon as you receive instructions from the RHCHP Compliance Office and not before then. If you have extenuating circumstances, you may ask us to send you instructions earlier by contacting your admissions counselor.
- Compliance requirements for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program include the following:
Tdap, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tuberculosis Testing, AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification, Physical Exam, Background Check, Drug Test, Proof of Health Insurance, Academic Integrity Assessment, and Seasonal Influenza vaccine. Please go to http://rhchpcompliance.regis.edu/ login to your account, and purchase the Regis Pharmacy Package for more details on how to complete these requirements (see steps 1 and 2).
- Why is a background check required? If you are participating in clinical programs at healthcare facilities, you must undergo a background check similar in scope to the background check conducted on the facility’s own employees. A consistent background check process helps ensure the safety and well-being of patients, students and hospital personnel.
